Is GATE tougher than JEE?

Me: 'Now, if Google had a common exam to recruit, which would be tougher: JEE or the Google exam?'
Me: 'Exactly! The same applies to Gate. When people say Gate is tough, they usually mean it’s tough for PSUs. Gate questions might be easier, but the competition is fierce due to limited seats.'
Me: 'Okay, but why are you so obsessed with comparing these exams? What are you comparing them on?'

Me: 'Board exams are easy.'
Me: 'Exactly.'
After a minute...
Me: 'Look, if you want to get into the best DU colleges, the board exam is the toughest. If you want IIT, then JEE is the toughest. If you aim for IAS/IPS, CSE is the toughest. For PSUs or IITs for Masters, Gate is the toughest. For foreign universities, GRE/GMAT is the toughest. For AIIMS, it’s the toughest. For becoming a CA, that’s the toughest for you. Want to join the Indian Forces? NDA/CDS is the toughest. The same goes for SSC-CGL/CHSL/IBPS exams.
Me: 'I mean, are you comparing the failure rates, syllabus, depth of understanding, question difficulty, or the range of topics covered?'
Sister: 'How can you compare? They serve different purposes and happen at different stages.'

Sister: 'No way, it’s not even relevant to compare them.'
She stared at me for about 10-15 seconds, then went back to watching the video.
Sister: 'Really? Huh! Do you know how tough it is to give exams for nearly a month? And if you don’t get over 95%, you won’t get into a good college.'
Me: 'Everyone agrees JEE is tough. It’s impressive to have such a deep understanding at a young age. But let me ask you, which do you think is tougher, getting into Google/Facebook or IIT?'
Me: 'Was that a statement or a question?'
In my experience, British people are fat, ugly and arrogant. Why is it and can it be changed?

Sister: 'Hmm, yes. The same goes for entrepreneurship or starting a business, right? They’re also tough if you want to succeed.'
Sister: 'Nothing. But what’s wrong with admitting JEE is the toughest exam?'
Nothing is inherently tougher or easier; it all depends on what you’re aiming for. 💪😌"
Me: 'So that means it's the toughest exam?'
Sister: 'Obviously, a statement.'
Sister: 'Obviously Google/Facebook.'
Sister: 'What parameters? (Dodged the question)'
Me: 'Yes, it is,' I agreed.
